The new, heavily armed Voyager-A.

USS Voyager-A

Beautiful. Read on the Star Trek Fan Content index to find out what it can do.

Voyager-A was a ship launched in late 2406, 29 years after Voyager returned from the Delta Quadrant. This ship is capable of transwarp, after years of studying Borg technology (Maybe you should thank the Borg). After making some unfriendly relationships with creatures from outside the galaxy, at the distant planet D'Ralom IV, the Federation commisssions the new Voyager-A, under the command of Captain Annika Hansen (Seven of Nine). Captain Hansen had nearly gotten all of her implants removed, and was promoted very quickly. In 2407, Voyager-A burned out its transwarp coil by traveling at warp 25.8, any faster would have caused a core breach. After slowing to warp 9.9999, then down to impulse, they collapsed space over eight light years, going straight through a colonized moon of D'Ralom V, which should show them not to mess with the UFP. Hansen had kept all of her implants in storage for future use. A vessel came out of subspace, ten thousand kilometers from Voyager. It was from D'Ralom IV, and the crew's intention was to cause structural collapse to Voyager. Chief Engineer Vorik had an idea - When the power core would shut down, it ran on a single emergency battery, the size of the Captain's cortical node. They locked temporal phasers on the power core and beamed the node in, along with the fail-safe device that the Doctor, who continued his service on Voyager-A had removed. Using a telepathic link from Starfleet research, the Captain used emotions, which were sent through a frequency that matched the fail-safe device, causing the node to shut down. The ship was defenseless, and just a photon torpedo - not even a quantum torpedo needed would blast the ship into millions of pieces, like a giant glass train crashing into a large brick wall in the middle of the track.

With a burned out transwarp coil, it could take up to ten thousand years to get back home. To solve this problem, Voyager's spatial shapers activated, creating a hole right through a star. At warp 9.9999, the ship went flying straight through the star, making a gravitational catapult. With this power, they reached warp 10, occupying every point in the universe.. They came back to the Alpha Quadrant only a few light years away from Earth when dropping out of infinite velocity. After dropping, they had heavy damage to inertial dampers and were faster than full impulse. The hull was starting to buckle and they needed to separate. That's exactly what they did.

Voyager Separates

The stardrive section then folded the neck and safely landed on Mars. Just after jumping out of transwarp, the nose section does a hard crash landing on Saturn's moon Titan. It took only seconds to get there at low warp, but days to salvage the nose. Voyager remained intact.
